((OOC: Sorry for the crappy post.... )) The Autumn breeze gently graced my face, lifting the strands of fallen hair from my face. Smiling, I let me hair out and continued to walk through the tall prairie grass. Dixie Followed closely in tow, the rope attached to her halter held lightly in my hand. My skirts stuck against my legs against the wind. I rolled my eyes. Why did I have to be a girl? It was just a pain. Taking a deep breath of the crisp afternoon air, I shook the thought. I guess it was inevitable. Taking a deep breath of the crisp afternoon air, I closed my eyes and smiled again. Opening them, I turned and looked back to my mare. Her head hung low, ears pricked, she slowly ambled along. Grinning again, I genlty stopped her and placed my arms on her back. Pulling myself up, I slid into place and took a peice of her mane. My dirty work dress bunched up around my legs very unlady-like, but I didn't mind. Squeezing Dixie's sides, I held on. The wind rushed into my ears as she broke into a canter. Her hooves beat against the ground, her legs pumped back and forth and her neck extended forward, ears flat. My hair wiped out behind me as we flew along the ground. Sitting deeper on her back, I told her to slow down. Dixie came to a trot, then a walk. Patting her neck, I smiled and slid off her back. Dixie's head whipped behind her and her ears flicked in alert. Turning around quickly, I wondered what it was...

Joel Masterson was galloping aboard one of his mustang stallions. He was riding his two year black colt Spartan. He slowed down to a walk. The young colt wasn't tired out but slowed down any way.
Spartan whickered softly hearing another horse. He had no saddle on his back. He wore a brown bitless bridle because he wouldn't take a bit.
Joel noticed. He got the colt to trot over to where he could see a horse with a girl. He slowed the colt back down to walk and then halted him next to the other horse. He slid off of his colt's back and patted his neck. " Hello" Joel said removing his hat.
