J.D. Red Buckle
The slim boy rode on the bulky mare. His hands were light and quick as he went for the rope. In a few seconds he had thrown it and roped the fence post. He smiled as the mare stopped on cue. He walked her over to the post and collected the rope. He paused and looked up. He saw another person not too far away, watching him. A frown crossed his face and he looked back down. He put the rope on the saddle horn and loped the mare around the ring a few times before asking for a roll back. She gave him all he needed and that was what made him happy.

He dismounted after a little more work and lead the mare out of the corral. He walked past the two people and tied the mare up. He quickly untacked her and let her eat grass. He grabbed a brush and tried to ignore the two people coming over to him.

J.D. shrugged, It was nothing special. Just a little something I leaned when I was younger. His words were simple, but at the same time intimidating.
